Business Of The Month
100km Three Rings of Shap 18th June 2011 - The 5th year
Each Ring starts and finishes at the Event HQ in Shap where there are full facilities with hot food and drinks available all day. We are hoping to provide showers again next year - albeit at the swimming club across the playing field! Please note that each Ring will only have ONE manned checkpoint at approximately half distance and will just provide cold drinks and simple food. Be prepared to carry your own supplies of food & drink if you want to supplement this provision. more details here
"When i was a child i spent many of my summer holidays in shap on my uncles farm, these were very happy times for me and i will never forget them. i try to come to shap at least once a year as i have never found more beautifull country side as you have up there. the people are the most friendly people i have ever met and i always look forward to returning there when ever i can".
