Wasdale Sheltered Housing

Wasdale is a Sheltered Housing unit consisting of 12 bed sits and 8 one bedroom flats, owned by; Eden Housing Association

It is situated in a secluded area of Shap in it's own grounds with the added benefit of all the village amenities being within a short walking distance.

It specifically caters for our older population who are still able to live an independaent lifestyle but may need the extra security or peace of mind that Sheltered Housing affords.

It is very much a part of the local community with it not being a home as such but in fact 20 individual home's under one roof.

All dwellings have a Careline Link giving tenants 24hr cover.

A Supported Housing Officer is on site each day to monitor the health and welfare of the tenants also to maintain a safe living environment in which to reside.
