      1. 09/0535 Proposed New Dwelling – 7 Foster Street, Shap. Application Withdrawn.
      2. Notice of Decision 09/0383 Proposed single storey extension to side of house – 1 Unity Terrace, Shap. Permission Granted.
      3. 08/0209 Redevelopment of Former Methodist Chapel – Amendments to planning approval, minor works that the council consider will not have a negative impact on the appearance or have an adverse impact on the privacy or amenities of neighbouring properties.

    10. County Councillor Tom Lowther
    11. - £12,000.00 allocated to spend in his constituency. To consider asking for a grant for the Signage.
    12. Parish Paths Initiative
    13. . Report following site meeting with Tony Burns and Andrea Bonacker.
    14. Shap Play Area – Play House
    15. – consider siting in a different location and advise Eden District Council of our comments. Also notification that another piece of equipment is defective – the scramble net, and update on its replacement.

      15 Correspondence:

      15.1 To receive update from John Banks, Capita Symonds re the problems reported at the last Parish Council meeting.

      15.2 To receive reply from Allan Harty, Capita Symonds regarding the sale of Shap Sports Hall.

      15.3 To receive update dated 31 July 2009 from Thomas Armstrong regarding the New Health Centre at Shap. At this point they considered the contract to be running 3.5 weeks behind programme.

      15.4 To receive confirmation from our Insurers that the Car Park Wall is now covered for the sum of £2000.00 and this is all risks cover. Therefore any damage must be photographed and reported to our insurers before any repair is undertaken.

      15.5 To receive update from Eden Housing Association regarding Wasdale Remodeling.

      15.6 To receive advance notification of the Annual General Meeting of Eden Association of Local Councils to be held on 16 September 2009 at Appleby.

        2. To receive notification of advance notice of consultation for the final consultation on the draft policies in the core strategy of the Local Development Framework for the National Park from 21 September to 30 October 2009.
        3. To receive notification from Cumbria County Council of Cumbria Housing Group – Strategic Housing Assessment consultation.
        4. To receive publication Local Access Forum Annual Report.
        5. To receive publication from Resource Cumbria re recycling entitled ‘Review’.
