Teddy Bears Picnic
- 1-9-2009
- Categorized in: Shap News
Almost 40 toddlers along with their parents and carers assembled on the lawn of Shap Vicarage for a Teddy Bears Picnic hosted by members of the Mothers Union. Everyone was welcomed by Janet Wood who led the children in a rendition of the song 'Teddy Bears Picnic' and other songs before they all searched the garden for 15 hidden teddy bears. The afternoon ended with a picnic tea, and the Revd martin Dew was thanked for allowing the use of the garden.
